The deep fjords in Uummannaq can reach as low as 1.500 metres. Down in the deep ranks you can find halibut, redfish, catfish, cod, and halibut as well as many other species. When the capelin arrive in the summer months there will be a lot of activity around Uummannaq, big and small boats will be sailing around to catch lots of capelin.
If you want to try sea fishing, we are more than ready to take you out, including fishing equipment and a 24 hour fishing license for everyone on board. If you wish, you are more than welcome to bring your own fishing equipment.
Duration: 4 hours
Participants: Please note that the excursion will only take place if a minimum of 4 tickets are booked in total. For example, if you book 2 tickets, at least 2 additional tickets must be sold to other customers for the trip to proceed. A maximum of 6 people will participate.
Language: The guide/captain speaks English, Danish, and Greenlandic
