This excursion is for individuals who want to experience dogsledding on frozen sea ice and among icebergs during the Greenlandic winter.
The sun has returned, and the days will become longer over the next few months. Dogsledding in the stunning Uummannaq Fjord during the winter scenery is an unforgettable experience, especially if you’re lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights)!
Day 1: Uummannaq sightseeing, tour preparation, dog interaction, and feeding.
Day 2: Dogsledding to Saattut, followed by lodging. Taking care of the pets, seeing friends, having lunch in nature, and dinner in Saattut.
Day 3: Dogsledding in Saattut, hiking in the community, meeting people, ice fishing, and dog care, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 4: Dogsledding from Saattut to Uummannaq. Includes breakfast and lunch.
