The journey commences at Ilulissat.
At 11:30 a.m., we pick you up at your accommodation.
We make plans for a snowmobile transfer. For your convenience, we use specialized snowmobiles.
The 25-kilometer snowmobile ride
It requires around an hour to complete each way.
You’ll be driving yourself during the trip. If you are not able to drive yourself, please let us know beforehand.
As the snowmobile’s driver, you’ll most likely share vehicles 2 and 2.
You are accompanied throughout by a guide.
You reach the sea ice in the UNESCO protected area after a 25-kilometer ride.
The local fishermen begin their days here as well.
Here, there is a resort with a breathtaking view of the glacier in a serene setting.
In Ilulissat Icefiord Lodge, the lodge with peaceful surroundings and a stunning view to the glacier, we serve warm fish soup from halibut catch.
Following this, we return you to Ilulissat.
An average snowmobile day trip, including lunch, lasts four hours.
You return to the city at around to 15.30 (3.30 pm)
