Join us for this combination færringehavn & puffin tour.
Nordafar: Explore a Historic Settlement
Take a unique journey to Nordafar, also known as Færingehavn, located about an hour’s sail from Nuuk. A remarkable fusion of Norway, Denmark and the Faroe Islands, Nordafar offers a fascinating dive into a ghost town.
The settlement was originally established by Faroese, Norwegian and Danish fishermen and remained inhabited until the early 1990s. Nordafar allows visitors to explore an important part of Greenland’s history and cultural heritage while admiring the beautiful and remote coastal location.
We combine the tour with sailing past a colony of puffins. See the fascinating little bird that adds a colorful touch to the landscape and provides a unique opportunity to experience Greenland’s birdlife up close.
Duration: 4 hours.
Participants: Please note that the excursion will only take place if a minimum of 4 tickets are booked in total. For example, if you book 2 tickets, at least 2 additional tickets must be sold to other customers for the trip to proceed. A maximum of 6 people will participate.
