Whale Safari in Oqaatsut

The tour starts at the harbor in Oqaatsut, where you’ll meet your experienced guide and skipper. After a short introduction and safety briefing, you board the boat.

You’ll sail out into Disko Bay, known for its rich wildlife and impressive icebergs.

Keep an eye out for the first signs of whales as you enjoy the fresh sea air and stunning views.

When the whales are spotted, the boat will approach gently to give you the best view without disturbing the animals.

You may be lucky enough to see humpback whales, fin whales and maybe even killer whales. The guide will share interesting facts about whale behavior and life cycle.

Participants: Please note that the excursion will only take place if a minimum of 4 tickets are booked in total. For example, if you book 2 tickets, at least 2 additional tickets must be sold to other customers for the trip to proceed. A maximum of 6 people will participate.
