Whale Safari in Disko Bay – An Unforgettable Arctic Experience
Join us for a memorable 3-hour whale safari in the breathtaking Disko Bay, aboard our luxurious Targa 44 with flybridge, operated by Disko Line.
What to Expect:
– Cruise through the spectacular, ice-filled waters of Disko Bay – one of the best places in Greenland to spot whales.
– Enjoy the view from the flybridge, offering a unique vantage point for whale watching and stunning Arctic scenery.
– A friendly and welcoming guide will be on board to share stories and information about the whales and the surrounding nature.
– Coffee and tea will be served throughout the trip to keep you warm and refreshed.
– Shuttle service is included – we’ll transport you to the boat before departure and back to the Disko Line Explorer office after the tour.
Whale Guarantee (June 10 – September 15):
If you don’t spot any whales on your initial trip, you’ll receive a free seat on the next available departure.

Season: The trip takes place during the summer period, from June to September. Please remember to bring warm clothing — it can be cold during the trip, even in summer
Participants: Please note that the excursion will only take place if a minimum of 4 tickets has been booked in total. For example, if you book 2 tickets, at least 2 additional tickets must be sold to other customers for the trip to proceed.
Language: The guide/captain speaks English, Danish, and Greenlandic
Boat Type: Closed boat
Toilet Facilities: There is a toilet onboard
Recommended Clothing: Warm clothes incl. hat, gloves all year. Sunglasses. Sunscreen during summer.
