A ten-day excursion to closely examine Inuit culture while passing through distinctive, pristine natural world.
Traveling under the guidance of local Inuit hunters. This would be the polar bear that we are looking for. The trip’s greatest highlight is getting to see this magnificent arctic resident.
The trip begins at the airport in Kulusuk, where you land if you’re traveling from Nuuk International Airport in West Greenland or Keflavik International Airport in Reykjavik.
When you arrive, we will greet you and provide you with guidance throughout the entire trip. On the final day, you will spend the final night at the Kulusuk Hotel before departing by plane.
During the nine days and eight nights of travel, you will spend the night in a tent with a cozy sleeping bag and cozy mattress.
For every meal, we will provide simple, delicious continental cuisine. Eating what you catch is an amazing experience! We will also cook the fish, birds, and seals that we catch while traveling!
You will be spending a lot of time together on the boat, so you should pack warm clothes, curiosity, an optimistic outlook, and strong social skills.
Following our 200 to 300 km southward journey from Kulusuk, we may see seals, whales, and birds. We may be in a polar fox habitat on the land at the camp sites, and since foxes are inquisitive and constantly on the lookout for food, we may see them up close.
For safety reasons, we travel with two boats, which also allows us to double up on scouting for polar bears and other wildlife.
