Combined snowmobile tour and ptarmigan hunting at Aattartoq
The trip starts with approx. 1 hour snowmobile drive, where we follow the ice fjord into Aattartoq.
Here we park the snowmobiles and go up the mountain, looking for ptarmigan. After a few hours of hunting, we get something hot to drink in our cabin before the trip back to town.
It is possible to borrow snowshoes when we are out ptarmigan hunting.
Duration: 5 hours
Participants: Please note that the excursion will only take place if a minimum of 2 tickets are booked in total. For example, if you book 1 tickets, at least 1 additional tickets must be sold to other customers for the trip to proceed. A maximum of 8 people will participate.
Language: The guide speaks English, Danish, and Greenlandic
Difficulty Level: Beginner friendly. Not recommended if you have back problems.
Catering: Coffee and tea served
Recommended Clothing: Warm, practical clothing, and hiking boots. Safety equipment is included. Other equipment can be rented.
