The whale season is a truly magical experience. Disko Bay is a haven for whale watching as the whales love to come here, feeding on the rich resources of the water.
The natural beauty of these wonderful creatures is amazing and very intriguing.
As the whales come back year after year, sometimes we recognize some of them because of their “fingerprint” on the tail.
The thing is, every whale has its own pattern underneath the tail, and you see it when they dive down into the water with the tail raised.
We cannot guarantee that whales will be spotted, but the chances are big.
