Winter Mountain Hike

Join our winter hiking tour with snowshoes in the beautiful backcountry of Sisimiut.

Sisimiut is known for it´s beautiful backcountry, which provides the perfect opportunity for winter hiking.

The backcountry is used often by the locals in both summer and winter.

Snowshoes are for everyone, no experience is required as our guide leading the tour will help you put them on and take them off.

The destination is Spejder Lake, which is at the centre of winter activities during the winter season.

The tour then heads southeast of Sisimiut, where you will experience the snowy terrain while the coast provides a beautiful view of ice formed by the tide. This terrain might have slight inclines.

On the way back we finish the tour with a great view of the city of Sisimiut.
