Experience the tradition of dog sledding with Greenlandic sled dogs.
Perfect for beginners, this tour offers both excitement and culture as you ride through the Arctic landscape. Meet the strong, eager dogs that love to pull sleds and enjoy a peaceful escape from everyday noise.
The journey includes gentle uphill climbs and thrilling downhill runs. For those wanting more adventure, longer tours are also available.
Weather conditions: Expect temperatures from 0 to -20 degrees Celsius. Dress in layers to stay warm and comfortable throughout the experience.
Physical activity: Participants will mainly sit quietly on the sled and enjoy the ride while the dogs navigate the terrain. However, the mushers may ask participants to walk on the side of the sled if necessary, especially on steep inclines, to assist the dogs.
Cold weather precautions Given the potentially cold temperatures, it is recommended to wear insulated, waterproof outerwear, including jackets, pants, gloves, hats and appropriate footwear.
Additional information: Dogs typically keep a steady pace without frequent stops or breaks until they reach the turning point for the return journey. Expect a continuous sled ride without many breaks along the way.
