A Magical Ride – Northern Lights by Snowmobile – 3 Hours
Join an unforgettable snowmobile adventure into the Arctic wilderness behind Ilulissat. Ride across frozen lakes and remote ridges, stop under the dark sky, and watch the Northern Lights dance above. Warm drinks and an experienced guide make this a truly magical winter experience
Our experienced guide leads the way through the darkness on snowmobiles and into the backcountry behind Ilulissat. The tour takes us past the quarry and further across frozen lakes, where we stop along ridgelines on the way. Here, we turn off the snowmobile lights and let nature’s own light show unfold, as we hope to be mesmerized by the dancing Northern Lights in the sky.
At our stops, we bring hot drinks so you can stay warm and enjoy the moment even more.
The tour includes:
3-hour snowmobile tour
Instructions and guide throughout the tour
Warm suit, gloves, boots, and helmet for riding
Hot drinks during stops on the tour
Transfer from Disko Line Explorer’s office to the tour starting point
Important information:
The route is adjusted according to weather and snow conditions and may change accordingly.
In case of overcast weather, we will reschedule the tour or refund your tickets.
Snowmobiles may be shared in pairs (two per snowmobile). If you book alone, you may be asked to share a snowmobile with another participant.
If you have neck or back problems, we do not recommend joining the tour.
All participants must be at least 12 years old.
Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
