This dog sled tour is for you who would like to have a taste of Greenlandic dog sledding. The tour is approx. 2 hours and starts with us driving you from the hotel to the sled dog town, where you meet the local musher and his Greenlandic sled dogs.
The sled is a traditional West Greenlandic sled where you will sit on reindeer fur. The tour goes by the dog sled trail out of the town towards the magnificent back country, where the silence and the winter landscape are an experience itself. There will be a short break with a warm refreshment before the sled is turned around and the dogs continue the journey home to their place again.
As we use local mushers, the experience will vary slightly depending on which musher can go on the given day. Some mushers are talkative, others are more introverted, but one thing they have in common is that they are passionate about dog sledding and want to give everyone a fantastic experience.
We do not recommend any dog sled tours to people with back problems.
