The Calving GlacierEighty kilometres north of Ilulissat, experience the breathtaking and beautiful Eqi glacier by boat.
Round trip to Eqip Sermia on board a quality boat from Disko Line.
There will be a guide onboard the boat, and there will be a presentation about the Eqi glacier during the 2-hour stay in front of the glacier. It’s possible to get relatively close to the glacier to observe the active calving events.
A tasty lunch with Greenlandic ingredients will be served during the trip, as well as cake, coffee and tea.
There will be a shuttle bus from Disko Line Explore building to the boat before departure and return after the trip.
You are welcome to bring your own beverages and snacks, such as water or soda.

Duration: This is a full day excursion. Travel time each way is 2-5 hours (depending on the type of boat). In addition, the boat cruises approx. 2 hours by the glacier front.
Season: The trip takes place in the summer period from mid-June to September. Remember warm clothes. It’s cold even though it’s summer.
