Igaliku Plateau – Guided Day Hike

Explore the region beyond Igaliku to experience the even more untamed and serene environment.

The plan for this day trek is to do a loop that begins and ends in Igaliku Village.

Our hike’s primary objective is to arrive at the picturesque plateau beneath Illerfissalik, the highest peak in the area at 1.752 meters.

We will have the best view of the glacier front at the end of the Ice Fjord from the plateau.

We will also take in the breathtaking and expansive scenery of the peninsula while traveling.

We’re going to wander alongside the raging river and observe how the undergrowth gives way to naked patches of moonlit trees.

This is an experienced hiker’s tour because we will be walking across challenging terrain for several hours.

Duration: About 8 hours.

Requirements of participants: Good physical condition and hiking experience.

Participants: Please note that the excursion will only take place if a minimum of 4 tickets are booked in total. For example, if you book 2 tickets, at least 2 additional tickets must be sold to other customers for the trip to proceed. A maximum of 12 people will participate.
