Join us on our fascinating 90-minute tour, “Meet the Greenlandic Sled Dog,” to learn more about the rich history of Greenlandic sled dogs.
We begin our journey by traveling to the center of our sled dog camp, where the strong and hardy Greenlandic sled dogs—direct descendants of those introduced by the Thule culture—are eager to tell you their story.
What to expect
Guided exploration: You will be completely absorbed in the fascinating world of dog sledding in Greenland by our experienced guide. Discover the cultural stories, historical significance, and unique lifestyle of these amazing dogs and their sled drivers.
Hands-on experience: Learn about the necessary equipment for dog sledding and the important duties and responsibilities associated with owning and raising these amazing creatures.
Feeding time: Experience the excitement of feeding time if you are lucky enough to be there at the right time! Enjoy a fun and informative experience as our guide shows you how to feed the sled dogs.
Duration: 2 hours
Participants: Please note that the excursion will only take place if there are at least 4 tickets booked in total. For example, if you book 2 tickets, at least 2 additional tickets must be sold to other customers before the tour can take place. A maximum of 6 people will participate.
Language: The guide speaks Danish, English, and Greenlandic.
