Come along on a Muskox Hunt

Would you like to join the hunt for musk oxen?

Then this tour is just for you!

Hunting season: 01 August – 31 September.

Included in the price: Sailing trip to and from the hunting area with an open boat approved for passenger transport. Warm flotation suit, life jacket, packed lunch, rifles. The trip lasts 6-8 hours.

Excluded in the price: Transport to and from Qaqortoq. Board and accommodation.

What the customer should bring: Warm hiking boots, hat, gloves, scarf. You can take your own rifle with you, and you yourself arrange for approval from the authorities.

The experience: You are first out at sea on your way to the hunting area. The hunt takes place further north inside the fjord.

Hunter's Eye in South Greenland

Hunter´s Eye in South Greenland is a small, local company based in Qaqortoq. Our goal is to give foreign trophy hunters the opportunity to hunt with local hunters while exploring the magnificent Greenlandic wilderness. We specialise in trophy hunting of musk oxen, but we also let visitors join us on reindeer, seal and fish hunts. In addition to our hunting trips, we also invite you on sightseeing tours to places like the Greenlandic ice sheet and the famous hot springs in Uunartoq.

We can give you a trophy hunting experience in Greenland you won't want to miss, thanks to our expertise in the local hunting areas and different fauna. We were both original Greenlandic hunters, and we utilise all the wildlife we catch.
