Very few places offer such a phenomenal view of the Greenland Ice Sheet as Point 660, located at the ice sheet’s edge. This is why this is one of the most popular excursions in Greenland!

Powerful 4WD-vehicles will take us through an incredibly beautiful landscape, through mountains, plains and semi-desert valleys. Near the Ice Cap, we hike through the fantastic moraine landscape.

At the end of the road, we walk to the Greenland Ice Cap and onto the vast ice sheet. We spend some time exploring this world of ice before returning to our vehicle.

There are good chances of spotting reindeer, musk oxen and many species of birds and flowers.

Albatros Arctic Circle - Kangerlussuaq

Kangerlussuaq is a settlement in western Greenland. It is Greenland's main air transport hub and airport, and also benefits from the only road leading to the ice sheet by car. The Kangerlussuaq area is also home to Greenland's most diverse terrestrial fauna, including muskoxen, caribou, arctic hares and gyrfalcons.
