We sail all the way to the Nuuk Icefjord on our excursion; in the winter, the fjord ice here can get thick enough to walk on, making for an unforgettable experience.

The trip to the ice fjord takes around two hours.
While traveling there, we might be fortunate enough to spot seals and great white-tailed eagles, however this is not guaranteed.
In order to at least approach the sea ice, we will stop the engine, get as high as we can, and proceed to walk on the ice. It is possible for inexperienced winter swimmers to dive into the ocean.
Our very own Targa, complete with heated cabin and ample internal space for all, serves as the tour vehicle. Along with outside sitting, the deck is also open for walking and standing.
You can also borrow a blanket because it can get rather chilly outside during the winter here. The boats also have restrooms.
Since this is a little bit of a longer trip, we highly advise packing a lunch for yourself.
We constantly make sure that water, chocolate, and coffee/tea are available on board.
We take your safety extremely seriously, and walking on the sea ice will only be permitted if the captain determines it is safe enough.
