Whale watching in the Nuuk area offers an exceptional nature experience. Nuuk’s fjord is home to diverse and abundant wildlife, and a whale watching excursion provides participants with a unique opportunity to get closer to these majestic creatures.
Humpback whales, known for covering some of the longest distances in the animal kingdom, migrate between the Arctic and the Caribbean, as well as other warm waters. During the summer season, from June to September, you can witness these impressive humpback whales in our fjord system. Being in the presence of these majestic marine animals up close is an unforgettable and almost magical experience that leaves the observer in awe.
Onboard the tour, tea, and coffee will be served, allowing visitors to enjoy full comfort and hospitality along the way.
