Whale viewing in the Nuuk area can provide an unforgettable natural experience. Nuuk’s Fjord is home to a variety and lush ecosystem, and a whale watching excursion allows guests to get up close to these spectacular creatures.
Humpback whales, known for traveling some of the largest distances in the animal world, migrate between the Arctic and Caribbean, as well as other warm waters. These majestic humpback whales can be seen in our fjord system during the summer months of June through September. Seeing these gorgeous sea creatures up close is an unforgettable and even magical experience, leaving the observer astonished.
