Workshop – Make Your Own Bead Earrings

This cultural tour allows you to delve into the art of Greenlandic jewelry and create your own unique Greenlandic bead earrings. The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours, during which we will explore traditional techniques and patterns.

You will learn about traditional patterns and symbols often used in Greenlandic jewelry and the stories they tell. Then, I will demonstrate the techniques and provide you with tips and tricks to create your own bead earrings.

You will have access to a wide selection of colorful beads, threads, and materials to suit your personal preferences and creativity. You can choose from various patterns or design your own unique patterns inspired by Greenlandic culture. I will be by your side throughout, assisting you in creating beautiful and meaningful bead earrings.

While we work on our creations, there will be plenty of time for questions and to learn more about Greenland and our traditional craftsmanship.
