Take an exciting grouse hunt for grouse, behind the city's mountains.
The trip starts with a short snowmobile ride up into the mountains behind the town (approx. 15 min). From here we set up the snowmobiles and hike up into the mountains in search of grouse. With their white winter plumage, grouse can be difficult to spot. We must therefore be alert, quiet and ready to shoot when we hopefully spot them. After a few hours in the mountains, we return to the snowmobile and drive back to the city.
Duration: 2-3 hours
Participants: Please note that the excursion will only take place if a minimum of 4 tickets are booked in total. For example, if you book 2 tickets, at least 2 additional tickets must be sold to other customers for the trip to proceed. A maximum of 8 people will participate.
Language: The guide speaks English, Danish, and Greenlandic
Difficulty Level: For experienced. Not recommended if you have back problems.
Catering: Coffee and tea served
Recommended Clothing: Warm, practical clothing, and hiking boots. Safety equipment is included. Other equipment can be rented.
