Location: Ilulissat
Ilulissat is Greenland’s third-largest town, with around 4,500 people. Because of the amazing fishing and hunting opportunities, the area has been inhabited for over 4,000 years.
Our Guided Town Walk is a great way to learn a lot about Ilulissat and Greenland in a short amount of time. The tour guide provides you with an overview of the area’s history and culture. We also pass the town’s museum, located in the birthplace of world-famous polar explorer Knud Rasmussen. In addition, we witness the town’s bustling harbor and old colonial residences, and the nearly 250-year-old Zion Church. Not to mention the exciting meat and produce market!
