Location: Ilulissat
For thousands of years, the Inuit have paddled through the waters of Greenland, and now we can invite you to join them. Glide silently through the sea, surrounded by enormous icebergs. The icebergs are illuminated by the midnight sun, creating a colorful display. Cloudy conditions, on the other hand, bring out the icebergs’ magnificent blue color. If we’re lucky, the silence will be disturbed by whales blowing air out after their dive or calving icebergs crashing. The view of the ice fjord from a kayak is unparalleled.
We use professional instructors who ensure that everyone is safe throughout the journey. A drysuit and a woolen inner suit are provided to all participants. Before the tour begins, the guide will offer a safety briefing. We also have a safety boat that follows the group on all tours. Even if you have never been in a kayak before, you are welcome to join the excursion.
Please note
– 150 cm in height is required.
– This is not a trip for you if you suffer from significant back or shoulder problems.
– Please bring a sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion, and water.
– A minimum of two hours on the water is guaranteed.
– We paddle in twin kayaks, which provide excellent water stability. Please note that requesting a single kayak is not possible. However, when the number of people on the excursion is uneven, a single kayak is employed.
