On this tour you can combine seeing the big icebergs and visiting a deep ice cave which is located close to Tasiilaq and Kulusuk.
We sail directly into the Atlantic Ocean, and on this cruise you will experience and see huge numbers of icebergs in all different shapes and sizes. If you are lucky, you may occasionally see humpback whales, minke whales and fin whales.
Our first stop is at Aputisaq Glacier, where we begin our journey into the ice cave. Before we head into the glacier, our glacier guide will teach us about safety skills that we will need for this experience. We will walk about 20 minutes under the glacier, and you will experience a whole new world. After our walk under the ice cave, we return to the boat and sail back to Tasiilaq.
Duration: 3-4 hours
Participants: Please note that the excursion will only take place if a minimum of 4 tickets are booked in total. For example, if you book 2 tickets, at least 2 additional tickets must be sold to other customers for the trip to proceed. A maximum of 10 people will participate.
