Boat ride with our licensed tour boat Pivik and knowledgeable guide to the renowned Ilulissat Unesco Icefjord.
Discover one of the world’s most stunning locations.
One of the most productive ice-producing regions on the planet is the Ilulissat Icefjord, or “Ilulissat Kangerlua” in Greenlandic.
The only way to get up close and personal with the enormous icebergs and appreciate their genuine beauty is from a boat, which is the only way to do this.
Boat Tour the UNESCO World Heritage Site
The entire Ilulissat Icefjord is recognized as a piece of world heritage by UNESCO. This is because the glacier Sermeq Kujalleq at the Icefjord’s bottom produces a lot of icebergs and because several enormous icebergs are trapped there.
The icebergs are always breathtaking, regardless of the weather. While the blue colors of the ice truly stand out when it’s cloudy, the sun makes the ice glisten and dazzle.
All our boat tours are conducted with qualified tour boats and knowledgeable captains. They will brief you on the ice and its significance for the region as we pass gigantic icebergs up close.
Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Season: June to October.
Participants: Min. 4 in total, max. 12 in total.
