Experience staying a night at The Ilulissat Icefjord Lodge after a day tour to the glacier - On dog sled and snowmobile!
It’s dawn at Ilulissat.
From 8:30 am, we pick you up from your hotel.
We make plans for a snowmobile transfer.
The 25-kilometer snowmobile trip takes around an hour to complete each way.
As the snowmobile’s driver, you’ll most likely share vehicles 2 and 2.
You are accompanied throughout by a guide.
In the event that you are unable to operate the snowmobile on your own, kindly notify us via email and we will arrange for a driver to accompany you.
Starting from the sea ice in the UNESCO-protected region, the dog sled ride to the glacier begins.
We then transport you to the front of the glacier via the dog sled.
It takes around an hour to go on the sea ice in a dog sled to the glacier’s front.
After reaching the glacier’s front, you’ll relax on the ice and have a cup of coffee.
We return you to Ilulissat Icefjord Lodge following your dog sled ride on the sea ice.
Here, we eat lunch while taking in views of the glacier.
Following this, you get the day to yourself in serene settings with a breathtaking view of the glacier, If a reservation at Ilulissat Icefjord Lodge has been made.
Following this, we return you to Ilulissat,
Departure from Ilulissat Icefjord Lodge is 10:30 a.m.
You’re back in Ilulissat by 11.30 am.
Important reminder for your comfort. We use a specially built sled.
This is not a traditional sled.
If you have neck and back problems, This excursion is not for you.
It is also possible to add a single driver upon request.
