Hiking from Assaqutaq

After 30 minutes of sailing, we will disembark on an island where the ghost village of Assaqutaq is located, 10 kilometers east of Sisimiut. Your guide will lead you through the empty houses, sharing the story of the abandoned village and its former inhabitants. After exploring the village, we’ll cross a bridge back to the mainland and begin our hike back towards Sisimiut.

Duration: 5-6 hours

Included:Snacks, sandwichs and warm drinks will be served on the trip

Please note that the excursion will only take place if a minimum of 3 tickets are booked in total. For example, if you book 2 tickets, at least 1 additional ticket must be sold to other customers for the trip to proceed. A maximum of 6 people will participate. You will be notifed at least 24 hours before the time of departure if too few tickets have been booked.
