Come along on an unforgettable and breathtakingly gorgeous winter journey as we make our way to The Secret Place. The tour only operates from January to March, which is a little window of time throughout the winter. We venture out onto the river and the chilly lake for this excursion, which accounts for the little time difference. Thus, in order for us to cross them, these must be frozen.
The excursion is truly unique and offers an incredible perspective of Greenland’s cold terrain and natural beauty. We approach the enormous ice blocks that have fallen from the Russell Glacier up close. A breathtaking sight that is well worth the trip.
The tour also includes a ride on the magnificent Russell Glacier’s edge, which allows you to view the glacier from a different perspective than you would normally get. It’s perfect if you want to have stunning travel images to bring back from your adventure. In addition, it’s a rare chance to take in the breathtaking silence and the crisp, clean air in the middle of Greenland’s winter.
